new to the runner crowd.

heyeverybody,

i just bought an 85 runner to replace my jeep. (baby coming, need more space, and locking doors so no one steals my .)

the runners main duties will be mild wheeling, and trails, and camping..not exactly a daily driver (i gots a company truck for that, but i would like to drive it pretty often.)
eventually i would like to get into the more hardcore wheeling, but for now i just need to get it cleaned up.

it leaks oil like an SOB, and the interior is filthy, also the spring on this thing are rock solid.

i dont know what kind of springs they are, but i'll get some pics when i get off work.

i replaced the bald ass 33's with some 32's i had. and i am lookin to get the height down a bit, i am a fan of low COG builds. also

Sounds like a good start. Getting a car seat in/out of the 1st gens is not very easy. I always found it a little easier to put them in through the rear, fold down one seat, and pull it through. Of course, my car seats are gigantic because the wife liked them better.

does anyone have any suggestions for minimal lift springs, that ride pretty good.... that are also relatively inexpensive?

The longer you search on here, the more options that come up!! I haven't heard too many bad things on OME gear, hope you like em.

Where you located at?
