Need suggestions for replacement Shocks

Hi from Nicaragua,
After the great luck I had with the Tundra brake upgrade, I'm thinking it's time to replace my Original shocks on my 2001 4Runner. I also haven't noticed any problems as of yet, but my rear end is starting to sag just a minor amount.

I don't want to go the lift route and am hoping some of you have had good experiences with stock height-ish replacements.

I searched and didn't find anything geared for stock height replacements.

Thanks,
DS

Try procomp, rancho, etc... there's a lot to choose from, and also shocks aren't going to take care of the sag, you will need to replace your leaf springs

4Runners don't have leafsprings.

You want to leave the truck stock setup or maybe little lift or is your Runner never going off road. Let us know what your intentions are and we can better help you. Better coils will help with the rearend sag.

More info

I am not a big off-roader by any means but use 4x4 approx. 2X per month while going to various surf spots here in Nicaragua. I also am expecting to tranfer to Denver next summer (saw your avitar) and love to board/hike/bike.

Thanks and sorry for the lack of earlier detail!

Moved to newbie land. This exact question has been covered many times.

Tip:
1) Go here https://www.yotatech.com/search.php
2) Type the word "shocks".
3) Then (very important) select titles only and highlight "95.5-2004 Tacomas & 96-2002 4Runners".
4) The results will show 12 pages (281 threads) where you'll find plenty of answers and information directly related to your exact question.

Do another search in the same method above but type "Tokico" instead.
