Need a lift

Hey all, I am new to modding trucks and lifting them. I need some recommendation on how i should go about doing this....

Body lift...... suspension lift......Both????
Pros/cons

what products are the best or recommended by you lot and should i stay away from ebay stuff???

My plans for the truck are to drive on the street most of the time but still be able to play in the mud and run over Honda civics in traffic.....

Yes i also plan to get bigger tires and i know i need other gears as well but i wanna grab a lift kit while i am traveling in the States to save some cash. I plan to install it once i get home to Canada and get my other part put together.

Very open to suggestion and the like......

Sorry if this post is in the wrong area.....

Thanks!!!

Get a super tall body lift.
Made of cinder blocks.

Get two 3" body lifts and stack them. That should give you enough lift for 31s...

Here, read this:

i will help you out, but next time make sure you search..

the biggest ?'s are, what size tire do you want to run and do you mind trimming the fenders a little?

as for the body lift, unless your planning on lifting the drive train or swaping in a motor dont do it..

35's would be the biggest i would want to go... Most of the kits i see dont come with rear leafs why is that?????? I do plan to swap in the future with 2.8 Turbo diesel but i dont think that will need a body life. As for my fenders i am all for giving them some flair but i hate body work.

Have tried looking around a bit still cant find the right kit or at lest still not sure what to look for....

If you enter the following "87 4runner lift kit" into the "Search" button, you will get 73 different threads all talking about lift kits, what works, what they like, etc. I think you may find what you need in there somewhere!

ball joint spacers, ZUK mod and cut the fenders to fit. you might want some wheel spacers to.
