Hey I am looking to buy an 87 4runner and I was just looking for some advice as to the quality of the undercarriage. There is some rust but it doesn't seem too bad but I'm no expert. So I was looking to hear some thoughts from some people who might know. Thanks for your time!

Alot of that is just mud and dirt, i saw very little rust, otherwise it looks good to me.

 

big areas to watch out for on rust is around the front hangers for the rear leaf springs, and at the very rear end of the frame.
