If you have one please let know need a ECU for 99 4runner SR5 4x4, a/t ,3.4 liter engine, fed emissions any info would be greatly thankful. Got this from one of my neighbors .
Want finish repairing it and replacing parts that are missing.

 

Your ecu has a part number on it, 89661-xxxxx, you should post that info.
ecu failures are extremely uncommon. Toyota put a lot of protections in the circuit to keep it safe. Short of backfeeding power through the unit by accident, or getting soaked with water they hold up remarkably well.
What are your symptoms, and any codes stored?
