what if I did the SAS with out hi-steer and left the tirod where it is and cut off the J-arm flipped the tie rod around and ran my drag link to the tie rod end where the steering stalizer connects and did like a slight bend in the D-link to clear my oil pan ?

or leave the steering alone and fin 52inch chevy springs for the front and 63 chevoes in the rear it will give you a 3inch lift all around and you will need high steer

Doing a SAS without highsteer is perhaps the most ridiculous idea ever.

The WHOLE reason to SAS is to increase the strength of the front end and gain flex. Staying with the stock steering eliminates both of those benefits.
