I have a 1994 Toyota pick up 22re I still get the initial Toyota chime even with truck on (I did a toggle switch starter to drive it) You ever had an issues where you put the key in and nothing on the dash worked?

Lights turn on everything but dash and acc doesn't works

Spedo gas rpm temp doesn't work no lights on the dash like how there usually is when you put the key in it isn't doing that
