Well it looks to me like you are on your way to some good MODS. I like all the little mods you can do to a runner. At this point, I have done:

Maglight mod ( 2 spots, 2 lights)
Roof rack
frount floor lights
Riding lights
Custom built Cargo Box
New Dash speakers
added another towing hook
Hitch step in tow bar

I plan on doing alot more little goodies as well

Have you followed the lines that go into the front diff to make sure they are hooked up and have no breaks from the diff to the acuator on the right side fender?? they are vacume lines and can crack or come lose/off from the accuator and you end up where you are now with no 4wd.

By the way not that it matters in this situation but are you 5 speed or auto??

Welcome. Make sure you check out the FAQ section. Lots of great info there!!!! Try and search - sometimes it works well, sometimes not. If you searched and didn't find what you needed - then post

When you say auto lockers do you mean you have auto locking hubs or more likely on your year the ADD system? Just an FYI, but auto lockers actually refer to an aftermarket traction device you can install in a differential. ADD is a system that disconnects the driver's side drive flange (2wd) and reconnects for 4wd. Auto hubs are just that, hubs that engage automatically when you shift into 4wd. I don't think any of the second gens came with auto hubs though. I could be wrong.
