I have an 02 4runner and was looking into the cherry bomb vortex, Flowmaster 40, and Borla xr1 muffler. Which is the best sounding? I don't mind a little loudness. Also, what's the ease installation?

 

I have a Flowmaster on my 3.4 swapped '91, and really wish I didn't. Only at certain RPM's does it sound good. I might be looking to swap to a Magnaflow next time around, and will be having the muffler shop do the work.

 

id go with the borla flowmasters sound like crap on the V6

 

What magnaflow sounds nice? Worth getting that over Borla xr1?

 

i have the flowmaster on my 22r and it only sounds good at certain rpms thinking about switching to magnaflow now

 

magnaflow sounds really good also but i guess its up to you and what sound you want

 

I have a Borla on my 3.slo and it sounds OK.

I have the same Borla on my wifes Subaru and it sounds Bad-Ass.

I don't know why the 4 cylinder sounds better than my six??

 

just got the 22" magnaflow put on the 4runner

 

I've had multiple flowmasters and I don't mind them but I had a magnaflow on the white 85 in my avatar pic and it sounded waaaaaaaaaay nicer than the flowmasters.

 

Its gonna be hard to make any v6 not sound like a civic
