mounting points on 88 4runner rollbar?

mounting points on 88 4runner rollbar?
just curious if anyone knows what the mounting points are for...I know what I want to use them for, just wondering if what they are actually for is cooler than what I plan

Those are for shoulder belts, which were an option on some models.
