Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 oil?

Yeah it's all the same and if you read on the container it says it's great for gasoline engines as well.
But you should probably stick with the 5w-30 since that is what the 22RE recommends.

Any oil is going to be more or less the same for a given rating ie 10w30, 5W30 and so on the differences are in the additive packages. Diesel oil will have more ash disbursing chemicals then a gasoline oil for example. Synthetics will be different to dino oil which is different to mineral oils within the same group rating,{ but do not run mineral oils they have no added wear packages and will wreck an engine that is not designed for them lol}. I ran Shell Rotella T 10w30 diesel oil in my old 87 22R for over 200,000kms with no issues at all ever.

i would never run anything but rotella diesel oil in my diesel.. i hear gas oil aint good for them AT ALL!!!!
but i have in a pinched used sum of my rotella diesel oil in my 22re... worked good but i usually just put what ever is cheapest in it..as i drive it under 1000kms a year
