longfield or Dirty 30s

I been looking into new axles.. I have to upgrade my axle, and just want to make the right decision.. right now i am running a doubler with 2.8 /4.7, 5.29 locked, and 35's...going to be going to 37s soon. Getting both with inner hubs and shipping would be a price difference of the $76 longs being more. I did read older posts and saw many people liked the longs more. Would be grateful for any feed back that anyone has experience with these axles.

I run Longfields with the same setup you have. I have a buddy that runs the Dirty 30's. This season, I broke a birfield and he snapped a shaft, we both had good experiences with the free replacement warranties.

However, I feel that it's worth the couple of extra bucks to buy from the innovator and not the immitator. Bobby Long, RIP, did more for this hobby than most will ever realize, and I choose to support his business, his family, and his legacy.

I run the Chromo 30 splines with matching hub gears. I should have been more clear though. I lost a trunnion bearing due to my own negligence and it took out the birf. There is no way that my rig could ever break a Long under it's own power without another failure acting as a precursor.
My buddies broken Dirty 30 shaft, however, was the only failure in that incident.
