Jay351, i ran a lockriht in a jeep i loved it on the highway when you let off the gas you could feel it sway a little. Can you feel that in a 4runner? it was the locker unlocking frewheeling alittle and locking back up

I experiance no real adverse effects from the locker. I had it rebuilt and the locker installed by a profesional though.
when going over 20km/h the only think that reminds me of the locker is the audable clunk when letting on/off the gas. Or when I try and take a freeway offramp when there is snow on the ground
Who knew a toyota truck could drift so well.
If you drive smart you will be fine. Im sure the 4runner will handle better due to its longer wheelbase vs the jeep.
For the money, its great!
