lift from shackels

i am pretty much just looking for reasurance.

i wanna give my runner a little lift i am going to go with BJ spacer up front. and shackels in the rear.

as a general rule of thumb a shackel will lift about half of its length over stock right?

for example if i go with ashackel that is advertised "1 1/2 inches over stock" it will give me 3/4" lift. in the end it matters on the angle of the shackle yada yada yada.

am i in the right direction i did some searching on this and these are the best explinations on this i could tell my self.

if i am just being a total dumb a$$ and am way off let me know. i would rather have the corect knowlage and be on the right path than have my feelings spared

thanks in advance
jesse

Yes, you'll see approx. 1" lift per 2" of added shackle length, although there are other factors, see:
