I own a 2003 Toyota Tacoma SR5, 4-Door 4x4 truck. Recently, I went to a wheel and tire shop to try and purchase new wider, more aggressive off road wheels and tires. The original stock wheel size for my truck is 16x6.5 or 7.5.; when I tried to buy the 16x10 wheels with maybe 33' tires, the shop owner said I had to lift my truck in order for them to fit. So my question is, what's a good and affordable lift kit to get, without going hard core and spending up all my money? In additon, what's a good wider wheel and tire size to get, once I completed getting a 3-4 inch lift on my truck?

that question can't be any harder to answer... for YOU.

Why, and this is long shot here... Why don't you spend some time looking around at trucks that are lifted and the tire they have and see how you like it. (how they look, since practicality is the last thing I'm getting from your post)
