Knock sensor wire bad from knock sensor pigtail to ecu. Can i just run separate wire from pigtail to ecu and splice on to good wire at ecu? If can is any certain kind of wire i should use. Wanting to make sure wire from pigtail of knock sensor goes straight to ecu and does go somewhere else also.

How do you know the wire is bad? Have you tested the resistance on it? Is there visible damage to it? Are you wanting to try and plug it straight in to the ECU? Tell us more about you rig. Year, make, model, mileage, transmission, 4wd? We will make an effort to help you but, you have to meet us halfway.

Side note: Better grammar and descriptions of your problem will make it easier for us to help. Also posting pictures helps us see just what your looking at.
