Im new to the site my first post.I have a 1992 toyota 4x4 with 22re 4cyl
motor and the check engine light is on (code 52 knock sensor) I Did a
search and read all the threads (helpfull) but I still have a few questions
1-Will the truck pass a cailf smog test with the check engine light on?
2-Why is there (2) Oil sensors
3-What is the part # for the knock sensor
Also I checked the wire to the knock sensor its good I pulled the fuse and
re set the computer many times after about 30sec.light comes back on.
is the knock sensor bad? if so how much $ to replace it?
Man Im pulling my hair out over this,Please any info would be Great !

Usually won't pass smog with the CEL on, from what I have seen. Common problem is that the ground shield on the KS wire breaks away from the ground connection. Make sure it is solidly grounded. I picked up a used KS on eBay for about $25 a year or two ago.

Not sure about the oil sensors, usually have a small one (for the dash oil pressure warning light) or a large one (for the dash oil pressure gauge).
