INtro Hello and minor/serious issues?

hi gang. thanks for havin me. here is my Runner. 3rd one now. And I LOVE it!

1st.
It has been making a high pitch squeeking sound on freeway or higher speeds. The sound is more frequent when off of throttle. When I accelerate the sound diminishes.

2nd. It was at the shop for a rim swap and the mechanic showed me right rear hub had oil leaking all over brake parts and shoes. They wanted 600 dollars to fix axel seal and leaking brake cylinder? does the brake presser even have fluid in it? Maybe it was differential oil? Maybe the sqeeking is lack of oil in rear end? I drive a ton so is this serious? I declined the repairs since I get parts at Toyota steelership for wholesale prices.

3rd the driver side and sometimes passenger side windows SQUEEK LOUD when rolling down. I figure this is worn window seals/components. Easy fix?

Thanks in advance!

Marty

Give the leaking oil a quick sniff, you'll know if it is gear oil or not:

Check the oil level in the diff as well, pull fill plug and oil should be just at the bottom of the hole.

Use some dry silicone spray on the rubber window tracks.

Where the window glass makes contact with the rubber molding in the door. Usually roll down the window and soak the rubber and then run the window up and down a few times to spread the lubrication around.
