FYI, for my truck PB Blaster/Thrust + Bolt Extractors = a 100% guarantee of getting ANY stripped/rusted bolt out.

Yeah. I've seen those. Always meant top pick up a set....

I have a -very- limited supply of tools at my disposal... maybe a couple socket sets.. and.. unfortunately most of the stuff I have is quarter inch drive... only a handful of my sockets are 3/8's....I've always been lucky when working on my vehicles ( lost alot of tools when I moved here from MI to begin with, and then when my Cherokee got repo'd alot more went with them and were "not included in the inventory list of the contents of the vehicle."

Ouch...see if you can find some deals on Craiglist in your area. People usually sell the Craftsman sets and stuff for super cheap.

I've always watched... I just haven't had the means.. it's been a -very- bad year... ( hence the potential move )

Unfortunately, I don't have the means to pick up new stuff... I've been wrenching the 'Runner with those quarter inch drives and extensions >.<

I'd really love to fix it... but my alternate option ( if I can come up with the money ) is to rent a moving truck and flatbed, and trailer it to Indy, where the fiances father can really help me out. ( he has -anything- I could possibly think of )

The absolute worst case scenario is to drive it as is... and pray that the Toyota and moving gods are on my side.

If you haven't tackled this yet I found this while searching for part #'s....

23250B (90301-07001) - O-ring $3.31 MSRP
23250C (90480-13005) - Grommet $3.63 MSRP
Injector
23291 (23291-41010) - Insulator (Injector Vibration) $3.63 MSRP
90561-10002 - The spacer maybe? You would just re-use your old one, but if you lose it or break it $10.31 MSRP
90301-23004 - Just reads at "Standard Part" most likely is another sized O-ring $3.63 MSRP

This is for the 3VZE

Oh you rock. That's a bit clearer than the FSM image I was looking at, because it doesn't actually label the spacer, and that was really really throwing me off. And *laughs* No.. I haven't tackled it yet. The move is still a few weeks away, so I keep praying I win the lottery and can get a trailer.

Thanks again. You all rock...

***EDIT***

Crap.. that reminds me... my brake light is on... I have no play in the brakes, it's not low on fluid, and it comes and goes as it pleases.. but seems to be doing it under acceleration. No amount of jostling or anything seems to make it come on or go off, and it doesn't seem to be related to anything that rattles. ( The only rattle I currently have in the truck is from a missing rubber fitting between the tierod and the bracket that goes around it, and the frame )

Also, anyone know why my cig lighter doesn't work? I was out spotlighting one night ( I lost a dog >.<, someone kicked our door in and let them out ) and it just stopped getting power.. no fuses are blown, and we didn't smell anything burning.. it... just... stopped. It'd be nice to be able to have access to 12v accessories ( GPS, car chargers, crap like that )

Well if it makes you feel any better the brake light in my pickup does the same thing...it's not low on fluid and the E-brake is not sticking. Sometimes its on and others its not. I don't pay much mind to it.

As for the cig lighter, Boots is right, check the fuse.

Yeah.. I did that....There's nothing blown.. I checked both fuse locations... Under the dash on the drivers side, and under the hood in engine compartment... nothings blown... and, even more weird, nothing else doesn't have power... it's the damndest thing, and I've never seen anything like it... All the connections are tight and everything >.<

Maybe fried a wire. Check the connections at the lighter and use a tester to see if you have power...

Actually, it does make me feel better... because like I had mentioned, there's nothing weird about the way the vehicle stops, the brakes aren't spongy or anything. I don't care so much now though.. so long as it starts, drives, and get's me to where I need to be.

Also... is there a fuse I'm missing... because I can't see anything else, and none of the damn things are blown. I'm friggan stumped.

I'm sorry... I'm looking for the "oh snap!" emoticon.. but I don't see one... I should make one.

I have to be honest....All I have is a carport. The other problem is that I don't know if I'll have the funds to actually get what I need to fix it.... We are beyond broke, and the cost of the move is eating up everything extra that we have.. ( well, to be honest, there is no extra... all the money we have is dedicated to the move.. )

The other problem is that I SEVERELY lack in the tool department.. :-/ (Though, I found my 3/8ths drive 14mm socket today... seems to fit a large number of bolts on the 'Runner. )

The offer is very very.. epic of you..but it's starting to look like I'm gonna have to make the move with it as is... *insert nervous emoticon here*

(by the way, 19th ave and C-back)

It's ~$120 or so to replace it so I blocked if off. The EGR is emissions related and since I drive less than 5,000 miles/year I am emissions exempt in my state.

Oh no kidding. I didn't know there was ways to "get out of" doing emissions tests.

Speaking of emissions... I was kinda hoping not to have to deal with it anymore ( leaving Phx and all ) but NOOOOOOO.... I happen to be moving to one of the TWO counties in Indiana that requires emissions testing! >.<

Anyway, thanks for the explanation, I didn't know if it was a performance thing, or if there was some special point to why ya did it. ( I'm always open to the tips and tricks... I'd like to do that (I think) ISR mod ( the air intake mod I think it is ) as soon as I can get the funds to back it, and take care of other things first. Lots of people talk about it, so I figure it must be worth doing.
