Injectors not opening

1994 toyota 4 wheel drive its getting fuel to the fuel rail truck will start for about 2 seconds only because the cold injector sprays enough fuel into the intake to make it I do not think the injectors or opening I can hold a rag of gas at the throttle body and it will run until the rag is sucked dry I have changed relays checked the fuel pump just don't know why the injectors are not opening

Ummm, have you done any recent work that have affected things? Grounds tight? All connectors properly seated? Fuses checked and good?

Good Question I just bought the truck 2 weeks ago from a guy who had taken both finders, hood, front bumper all kinds of stuff was taken off the truck he claimed that he changed the timing belt and couldn't get it to start back up so he just wanted to get rid of it I got a great deal on the truck so I thought what the heck come to find out its in time like I said when I hold a rag full of gas to the throttle body it runs great just don't know what would keep the injectors from opening

What relay did you replace? The COR (Circuit opening Relay)? Is everything plugged into the ECU nice and tight?

Gas in the tank? https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...-start-226138/

The FSM may also be helpful: http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/index.html

And, please double check the grounds under the hood....a loose or not connected ground wire can cause a whole host of headache.

Similiar problem:
