Hey everyone. I just bought an 87 4runner with the 22re auto. I was looking at some new rims and tires and was wondering if a 15x7 with a 4in backspacing would give me any problems. I am planning on running a 31x10.5 tire. I was also wondering if anyone ordered rims and tires from summitracing. Do they mount and balance the tires and rims if you buy them? Thanks all.

I think with that setup you should be alright, but I'm not 100% sure. If you did have problems, Id guess it would be the tire rubbing on the frame rail behind the control arms at full lock. I run a 3.75 backspace on a 8" rim with a 12.50 tire and dont rub there (I do at full compression on the pinch weld, but also have a 4" lift), so I would say your ok, buy hopefully someone will chime in thats 100% for sure!
