ignition kill switch

So earlier today i posted a thread on installing an ignition kill switch in my 1988 v6 4x4 efi. I only want to run a kill switch through my key ignition and not through the fuel line or anything like that. A couple people gave me some great answers but my only question is how man amps do i need for this to be able to support it? as you can tell my electric experience is in the negative region, hence the newbie section. If anyone can let me know how many amps and maybe ohms as well that'd be great! thanks in advance!
