IFS rear VS. straight axle rear Question
What is the difference? I only have a straight axle rear for my '89 IFS 4runner, will it work ok? Any other related help would be nice, thank you.

From: Nashville TN. I can help you if you're close BUT NOBODY CAN HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FILL YOUR LOCATION IN!
IMO, the differances in axles, the SA and the IFS rears, is negligible...
And the diffs are built just like the Ford 9". And depending on year, it's rated stock at a 38" tire.
There are no problems with Toyota axles. Well, one. But you'll blow a UV joint to if you turn it hard under a load.
