ifs lift question

My truck has never been lifted, and im thinking about lifting it up a bit so my tires dont rub, I want to eventually do a sas but for now im looking at cheep lift options. I found a 2in lift with nwor rear springs and new improved front torsion bars. MY BIG QUESTION IS WILL MY TRUCK FUNCTION GOOD WITH THESE IMPROVED TORSION BARS AND 2in REAR LIFT SPRINGS.

Function? Thats pretty ambiguous.

It will be fine. It will drive down the road, and get you where you are going. You'll have a higher COG, but just don't take any 90deg corners at 60mph and you'll be peachy.

I have about the same truck as yours and put in an Ole Man Emu set from ARB -- full in the rear and only the shocks so far in the front -- eventually will put in a 1 inch ball joint spacer and new torsion bars. I have same size tires as you, and no rubbing. Supposedly the key for front IFS is a spacer and then cranked down torsion bars...

Torsions will make it stiff as all heck unless you add a heavier bumper up front. Ball joint spacers up front, www.4crawler.com

If it were me and I was planning a future SAS, I'd just get a 2" body lift. Its your easiest and cheapest way to go and would be fine for what your wanting to accomplish, plus you can decide if you still want the extra 2" of lift after you so your solid axle swap.
