ifs differential more than 1 inch drop?

ifs differential more than 1 inch drop?

Hello guys i search here and i read about the 1 inch drop for the ifs diff. The question is: The drop can be more than 1 inch to even release more stress from the cvs?

you should not need more than 1 " even then all the drop does is space out the 2 rear mounts the front stays the same. basically the rear swivels down an inch. It causes vibration in the driveline do to change of pinion angle.

That's what I was going to say: a larger drop will screw with your pinion angle. The only reason to have a drop is if you add a lift. The purpose of the drop with a lift is to take care of pinion angle issues. You have to remember that the front drive shaft is pretty short, and any drop will seriously affect the angle.
