km1. A bunch of places are giving discounts on them since they are being discontinued. But this is by far the lowest I've seen them go for.

I just looked on that site. How is it that the 33x10.5s are 85 each and the 31x10.5s are 155 each?

I like the height of the 33 but i dont want a wide tire. Plus i'd have to cram it on a stock rim and im not a big fan of the 31 cause it looks small i have 30's on now and they seem tiny. So if you were in my shoes what would you do??the 33 or 31? Help me !!
31's are tiny + 1 inch

If you can make the 33's fit you won't regret it. This is probably just the start of your trucks transformation. Why go and buy tires again later when you could use that money on more mods?

I would run 33X10.50-15 but since you can't get that tire in that size run the 33's on your O.E. rims. They won't be as wide as if they were on 15x8 or 15x10.

If i had to venture to guess, I suppose it would be becuase the 31X10.5 is a lot more popular of a size than the 33X10.5

X2 on craigslist.
I would get used 31"-32" tires. Then use the rest of my money for a rear locker as this will help you off road far more than a 33" tire.

Do you NEED tires now? Are they bald, cord showing?

If not, I would save up for the 33x10.50. The BFG AT comes in that size too and is considerably cheaper than the KM2 ... there might even be some old KM's floating around in a warehouse somewhere that I bet you could get a deal on.
I agree with TC, a buddy of mine runs 32x11.50's on his truck and with a little bit of pinchweld trimming they fit fine, so go with 32's if you want a little wider tire, 31's if you want more power, and 33x10.50's for optimal ground clearance, though remember going from 32's to 33's only nets you .5" more clearance, Camach's truck has 32's and an aussie locker, and I have 33's, an aussie locker, and a 3" body lift, when it comes to wheelin, its a crapshoot to see who can get farther, so lift doesnt mean crap.

PS-But I am throwing on a 4" procomp lift and 36" Iroks soon...

Search high and low for discontinued km's in the 33/10.5 size. I deliver antifreeze to all sorts of places and i found a set for 90 each, beats the projected 165 each for at's that i was going to get when my current ones wear out.

Stock FIT?

Will 33x10.50's fit under a stock second gen 4runner? I'm thinking about getting a second set of tires to run on some aluminum wheels I picked up for free. I regeared to 4.56's recently would like to have the 33's for road trips so I don't have to rev at about 3k to run 65mph....like I do with my 31's on there.
