I’ve replaced the fuel pump my 93 sat for about 9 years under a carport and I’ve been trying for weeks to get it back running and on the road will you guys point me in the right direction? This is how she sets currently so sad …..
I have went threw two fuel pumps last one from Amazon runs for one sec then immediately shuts off I just was told about Noid test lights so I’m going to try that I hope it works but either way not bad for a free truck I think lol
with my 22re, i've been able to duplicate that running for one second thing by squirting carb cleaner into the plenum, so in your case perhaps it's running off of the cold start injector, which doesn't stay on for very long... it might be easier to listen for the main injectors clicking with a mechanics stethascope, but i've never tried it.
Thanks yeah I’m going to do that the worst part is I live in Birmingham AL and it’s down in Tuscaloosa AL so I have to load up my tools make the drive work on it done drive back so it’s limited time I have a 2 yo granddaughter now so that takes up most time but I don’t mind it lol
