I have brake issues

I replaced the whole clutch/brake pedal assembly because it broke (don't ask how). This required moving the brake master/booster since to get the new one in. At the same time, I put in new shoes for the rear brakes. I went to break in the new shoes and everything seemed to be going fine. They loosened up but then when i went to go up to work, they all locked up. The pedal was really soft when I left and was so stiff that I couldn't even press it with my foot when i got back home. I am thinking i probably just tweaked a hose moving the booster around to fit in my new clutch pedal, but I am not sure. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Did you replace the parts with the wrong replacements? Can you clarify why you had to move the master booster to a different location??? Did you crease the firewall?

No I just slid it out 1-2 inches so i could put the pedal assembly under the dash. The rod that connects to pedal needed to be slid out to fit the new pedals in.

Did you mess with any of the vacuum housing gaskets? Definitely check for some pinched break lines, or maybe your new pedals need to be adjusted to have the proper play, height, etc
