Hub quality question

I know there's a sticky featuring everything I need to know about a manual hub swap, so this isn't a how-to question. Basically, prices seem fairly elevated on finding a decent set of aisin ifs hubs to swap over on my add front end. I did however find a set of mile marker supremes for 60 bucks brand new. Is it a complete waste of money to go with them? I have tried my local salvage yard to no avail and all I'm seeing are used aisin units for 150 to 200 dollars a pair floating around on the web. Any advice on these mile marker units?

I will only use Aisin's but some people use the mile markers and like them. It's a personal preference thing. I feel the OEM hubs a a bit stronger so if your going to be wheeling it then you might want them. Used pairs of front hubs can usually be found on craigslist for around 75-100 bucks. As long as all the parts are there you can clean them up and put them on. Most of the time you will want to order a new gasket or get some gasket paper and cut some new ones out (that's what I did I was in a hurry). Worked great.
Hope this helps.

I'd say go for it. It's a personal preference, most say aisins are stronger. I bought a set of aisins for my 4runner in the classified section here, think I paid 75 shipped to my door.

I love my Warn Hubs but then I always was the different one.

i tossed out a bunch of the Aisin ones before I found I could give them away.

Then most were pretty well in need of some serious new parts after years of winter chemicals and neglect.

thanks everyone for the input. I am only wheeling on 31's at the moment at at the most plan on going to 33's, so I don't know that the additional strength of the Aisin hubs will be absolutely necessary (although Id of course rather have them.) I suppose I will keep looking at ebay/craigslist for the moment, but if nothing comes up I can probably order 3 brand new mile markers and just go into it having a spare. Thanks!
