How to install new studs on Struts?

I just bought some ToyTec 3/4 inch spacers for my front struts, and these come with new studs. I think the current studs are pressed on if I remember right.

Can the current studs be removed with a C-Clamp or similar, or are they pretty tight? Whats the best way to to this? Thanks.

and to remove them id put the nut on so its flush with the end of the stud and beat them out. like a lug nut stud.

Just saw your second response - Thanks! I just wasn't sure how tight they were.

Do you know if I will have to take the strut apart to do this? I can't remeber if there was enough space to do this with them together or not.

I just did the struts and it was a living hell getting them compressed enough to put back together..

I posted that question when it was dark last night, but I just walked out to look at them and sure enough you have to take the whole damn strut apart to change the studs..

I didn't even think about the studs when I bought these spacers, its a huge freaking job - or at least it is without a hydraulic strut compressor.. My little bolt tightened spring compressors were a nightmare last time.
