How to get front diff back up
So I needed to get the oil pan off my 1992 Toyota pickup 4x4 so I took off the 4 bolts to the cross member and the two that hold the diff in. I'm having a hard time getting everything to line back up. Are there any tricks or ways to get it right up in there?

The first two, or three times you do this are the hardest. After doing this half a dozen times, I can R&R one in little more than an hour, by myself.
Have you removed the crossmember piece from the diff cover?? It'd be hard to get the diff back in place with it still bolted on..
I use a small floor jack under the punkin and angle the long stub up between the A arms first. Once you get that first big hanger bolt started, you've got it made.
Don't tighten anything until all bolts are in and started. The crossmember goes back last, after the two big hanger bolts are started.
You can do it.
