how to do a deckplate mod on 1995 4Runner

I was wondering if anybody knows how to do a deckplate mod or variation of it on a 1995 4Runner. Pictures would be extremely helpful

Since the 2nd Gens have a round airbox, there isn't really a "deckplate" mod. However there is an "Air box" mod. The short of it is: remove the pipe and plate from behind the headlight that go into the airbox. Then take a drill and make a whole lot of little holes in the bottem of the box.

There is a write up of it in the "tech write-up" section

Which motor?

Not that it really matters - neither the 22RE nor 3VZE are going to benefit much from it...

Dont worry about the deckplate mod for 2gen, Do the ISR, It makes a bigger difference.
THe airbox can already flow more then what the AFM can anyways, Yes I know K&N cone types can help but they also have a sacrafice of breathing hot air and letting more crap through to.
