I would go with IFS, much cheaper.

If this is being done to just be able to say I converted this from 2WD to 4x4 by all means go for it.

If time and money are of no concern and this is a keep busy project a good excuse to spend lots of money on really good tools.

Funny thing when people approach me to do a project like this I quote some numbers the response is " I can buy a newer vehicle much cheaper"

Now The OP might not be paying for labor but your time should be worth something I know mine is.
