Ok so I'm finally asking for help on this because I cannot find it on my own. My hood release cable broke on my '86 sr5 pickup and I have yet to find a replacement one after searching the internet for months and am tired of driving around with a wired down hood. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem or even a site where I can just nuy a new one (or used?)

If you have a pic n pull near you go there and pull one off of a truck, its either that or go to the dealer and order a new one.

 

get a used one from a 84-88 pickup or 84-89 4runner
