home made rock sliders

i am looking to do some custom rock sliders i have done some before on my jeep but now i have a yota that is naked lol i just want to see some of your guys ideas of rocks sliders mabey some build threads. i have thinking of using 3' piping cause i have it laying in the back yard but still metal is pretty cheap where i live. please post some pics

3" pipe is 3.5" OD. Way too damn big and heavy.

Look in the build thread section and fab shop.

i have some 6" pipe I was thinking of using but i thought it was to small and to light being only schedule 80

I was hoping Wabbit would fab me some sliders out of a bunch of scrap rebar...it's light. Very strong too! They use it to hold up houses and buildings....so it should be plenty strong for a itty-bitty Toyota...

They are YOUR rock sliders going on your vehicle!!!

Make them from whatever you want or have laying around.

But I would stay away from PCV pipe it is a pain to work with.

I made my sliders identical to the trail-gear sliders. I used 1.25" sch80 pipe for the legs and bottom piece and 1.5" .120 wall hrew for the rest. Before anybody asks...Yes my doors still open. They have about a half inch of clearance!
