Higher than normal idle questions

Hello there, I am new this site and Toyota's. I have 90 4runner with the 22re and my question and concern is my engine will idle warm at 1200 to 1400 rpm.... I think that's high. And the adjustment screw is turned down all the way. So I can only increase the idle as far as adjustments go. And I did remove the dashpot for the time being... Any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks all.

In rare cases I have seen the throttle body shaft worn so hard it allows a airleak

Has the throttle body itself ever been cleaned ??

Lube the throttle body linkage??

I tend to spray mine every oil change if not more often

Checked in the cab that nothing is binding or broken where the throttle cable goes through the firewall

Causing the throttle pedal to hang up

How does it idle with the throttle linkage disconnected ??

Any Vacuum leaks ?? Vacuum hoses on wrong could cause added air

Air intake system is tight no cracks or leaks.
