High idle, delayed kickdown, occasional stalling
I have a '99 toyota 4runner 6 cylinder and it will idle very high as if it were extremely cold for like 15 minutes after it's started, when it used to kick down after 3 or 4 minutes. It's also stalling here and there at traffic lights ( only after it has warmed up and kicked down of course), not very often though. An ideas? Thanks!

Is there a simple way to test? I'm not experienced with auto electronics. Also which one is it, because I think the idle control sensor is also right there at the throttle body right?

Search for: tps adjustment <your engine code>
gonna pop up.
Take your time adjusting it. It can be finicky
Go buy a 20-40 dollar Voltmeter. You will need it again some time
