Help: How to get a Microfish(parts illustration)?

Does anyone know how to get parts microfishes (i think that is how it's spelled) for Toyota trucks?
Specifically looking for '89-'95 pickup,

I have a motorcycle, and most dealerships have online microfishes that you can search through and find and order the exact part that you need, but for some reason all the car makers don't seem to have these online, is there some big conspiracy about trying to suck a few more dollars out of the people who own their company's product or am I crazy?

Thanks in advance for any info

BTW: I did do a search on here and yahoo with no results,

Do you want the actual microfiche or just the parts catalog. Toyota calls the catalog on the computer EPC for Electronic Parts Catalog. There are a couple floating around, the 1998 and 2002 versions. For your truck either would have all the info you'd need. If you have a high speed Internet connection, downloading the 1998 EPC isn't horrible, two 250MB files. The 2002 version is about 1.5GB and it turns up less often.

Yankee Toys has the 1998 version:

Usually you throw back the microfish or the Game Warden will get on ya

It's spelled microfiche.

You don't need the 'fiche OR the EPC - it's all in the FSM, located here:

Thanks for the quick responses guys ( and the humor ) you have to love this site, I'll look into those links, I was pretty sure I spelled it wrong too
thanks alot and much appriciated

.....and I'll be sure to throw back the "microfish"

oh, and all i want is the pictures, I don't need the tiny little clear thing, would be a little hard to look at while pulling parts at the junk yard or something....

The FSM doesn't contain part numbers, but if all he's looking for is to bring a picture into the dealership and point and say "I want one of these", then the pics in the FSM will be perfect. If he wants part numbers, he'll need either a paper parts catalog or a copy of the electronic parts catalog EPC.

Pickups:
1st GEN: 1964-1968 (Stout)
2nd GEN: 1969-1974 (Hilux)
3rd GEN: 1975-1978
4th GEN: 1979-1983
5th GEN: 1984-1988
6th GEN: 1989-1995
7th GEN: 1995 1/2-current (Tacoma)

I am having a heck of a time finding a good parts supplier. its so easy for my motorcycle but for the truck its tough.

I have the 'fiche for my 1989 truck. I bought the card set on e-bay a few years ago when the dealerships all went electronic.

One way to view it is to use a microscope.
I use the USB microscope on the computer. Navigation is a pain, but I really don't have room for my own microfiche machine.

In the back corner of most libraries there are still a few card readers. The nice ones PRINT!

The DVD version and the latest 18 cd one, (which covers US vehicles as well), are available via torrent. Don't have the feed info offhand, but a search will find them.

The DVD version is also here, for the moment, (with the databases split into separate zip files):

DVD version - split

It'll be getting shifted over to ftp within the next week or so, with the eighteen cd version being on there as well.
