Hello, new here, looking for advice....

Hey I have a 94 xtracab 4x4 with the 2.4 ltr. 22R-E... You know the big monster engine haha... I have access to a V6 and was told it would be an easy swap out.. Would it? Im lookingto get more power, becuase the little 4 banger doesn't have quite enough for my liking. I dont mind the 22R-E, but I would rather something more powerful... Any advice? Thanks guys, I apprteciate any help.

3.0 or 3.4 that is the main question. If it's a 3.0 keep the 22re and get a cam and larger exhaust and mod the intake a bit. You'd do much better than a 3.0 swap. Now if it's a 3.4 go for it!!!

cool... Now, how easy of a swap would that be? Would it be "bolt on" or would I beed to get a new tranny, or would it just need some extra parts or something to make it work?

I'm assuming that you have a 3.4? Hitup a search for 3.4 swap and you'll find tons of info on this.
