Guys I’m a newbie and man I am getting so much conflicting info via Facebook and google search it’s making my head spin.

if anyone can help I’d be appreciative.

I had a head gasket blow on 94 22re. I took head to machine shop and had it pressure checked and surfaced. They took 20 thou off of it. Now I’m trying to figure out what gasket to go with? I see people say a thicker gasket, others say OEM, and others say OEM with an adjustable cam gear or my timing will never be right.

what do I do? I need to get some parts ordered but want to be right.

 

I would contact LC Engineering since they build and sell high performance 22RE's. They can probably sell you what you need if you need other than stock. Good luck and post up what you find.
