has anyone put power steering on a 79 pickup?
i am looking for information in a power steering conversion, can a pump be bolted on to a 20r engine? can i use a steering box of a ifs newer 4 runner with a 22re? does anyone have the parts for sale?

1) yes a power steering pump can be mounted on 20r->however not all 20r blocked had the necessary threaded holes.
Check the 83 and earlier folder
2)yes you can use an IFS steering box but only if you convert to high steer, you need a mount bracket, 3" lift & high steer kit. 79-85 steering with push pull steering operates totally different
3) check the classifieds, ton of parts for sell. Please don't ask for parts in the tech section.
