I just got a replacement beach truck and it has an auto trans that seems hard shifting.

Before I go too far. I need to degrease it real bad, thing is just super oily, and the leaks are many.....

I know I hear a vac leak. But I can't locate it yet. Hoping its related.

The kid I got it from had someone put on a new valve cover gasket, but obviously a home job, and he relays they may not have gotten the vac lines right. The motor shakes a bit like a heroin addict strung out at low idle, but smooths out once underway.

Vibration when going from 0 to 10 mph, but it also smooths out above ten mph.

I'm searching, i promise. But I may have to start from scratch on the vacuum hoses, and my chiltons diagrams are all too dark and small to realy see the routing....

I've got to attack thing s one at a time, so the fuse box will be first, fluids, then try and fix vacuum, then fix leaks.

Any help on vacuum diagrams or good photos? I have searched like another newb said... til my eyes got bloody. TOO MANY choices, and slow connection.
