Hard to roll backwards.

Okay, so this problem seems to be a bit confusing to my friends and myself.

As a few of you know I bought an 81 pickup a couple months back that is turning out to not be such a sweet find.

Heres the deal. With the transmission in neutral, I can easily push or pull my truck forwards, but can not push it backwards without extreme effort. With the transmission in neutral, and clutch engaged I have the same effects.
While on hills facing upwards the truck rolls back on it's own with the clutch engaged or disengaged, but when it comes to a stop, I still cannot push it backwards.
The truck has no issues with shifting into reverse, and seems to have no issues with reversing.

Info:
22r
4 speed
Stock gears
33s
LSPV has not been adjusted since the lift

This has really been troubling me, and is quite concerning. Thankfully for the time being, the truck is parked and not insured in my garage due to needing work, so time is not an issue with how long it will take to fix.

Any info I can get will be very much appreciated
Thanks in advance guys and gals!

Check your rear brake shoes. They may be flexing and binding up when moved in reverse. Possible contamination of the shoes
