grinding noise lft frnt
I live in northern wisconsin my problem is i have a grinding noise that sounds like a wheel bearing goin bad it only makes noise when its cold and when i hit a bump it goes away then hit another bump its bak if i come to a stop sign it goes away when its warm out like in the 50s it doesnt do it at all changed both rotors calipers pads its a 90 4runner 4 wd i was told if was a wheel bearing it would do it all the time. please help its my baby!!!!!!

Search for "spindle bushing".
Seems to be going around lately...
It might be a wheel bearing too. Jack up the wheel, and try to rock the tire back and forth with your hands at 12:00 and 6:00 - if it feels like the lugnuts are loose, you have a bad wheelbearing (this is the unscientific test method - I'm sure someone will chime in with a better, more accurate way)

i have the same exact problem. i even took off my hub and drove around and it didn't make a peep. but with hub on grind. i greased the hub and back side of cv axel where it meets the wheel and covers rear bearing. but only found this to be temp fix. others found it to last.
