what are you gonna run for springs? when i bought my 79 the front springs were flat arch, replaced them with rough country 3 inch lift springs and they cleared 33's. worked great and rode nice too. if your springs are in good shape the kit alone will be an improvement, if not get springs too. i had trouble with rear axle bearings on the 79 i had. i replaced them and the had good results with ride/drive quality between the two upgrades.

not sure about the springs

PO installed 3" trailmaster lift... if anything, i'd like to return it to stock height and get 30x9.5x15 under it. i just want this to be a solid work rig for me for for as long as i need it, and be as efficient as possible. gonna replace all these bushings as well as u-joints.... then i need a knuckle kit and some transfer case oil seals and my rig will be solid and not leak anything (except a little power steering fluid)...

anyone know how many hours to install this kit?

Replacement Bushings

I just finished replacing the track bar bushings on my truck. The only problem that I had was that the OEM bushings meed to be pressed out, at least the track bar does. I would guess as far as time goes, allow an hour for each "component" of the kit. In the midwest, everything under the vehicle usually requires PB Blaster and a torch. You might want to get some new hardware just in case.
