ok well since marlin crawler isnt responding. then im either going to go with

- Centerforce dual friction clutch and disc for $260
OR
- Centerforce 2 pressure plate and disc for $230

what do you guys think?
you think its worth it to get the dual friction?
Im running stock gears, with 35" boggers.

let me know cause im probably gonna order one today. thanks

EDIT: i called centerforce and they recommend the dual friction clutch.
should i go with it???

how are they not responding? Are you calling them?

also, if its a dedicated trail rig, the dual friction is the perfect clutch

Yeah, Marlin's website is down. They don't respond very well to emails. Better to post on the product support part of the forum, or call. Doesn't matter now, though, since you ordered a Centerforce, but if you ever need anything else from them...
They aren't good at responding though.

I have a centerforce dual friction clutch in my 95 4runner LTD. I love it. I don't think you can go wrong with Centerforce. I did have my flywheel resurfaced. That is a must.

Sounds like your clutch is burnt up from crawling with stock gears and 35s....

getting a better clutch wont solve the problem...no clutch will last

you need to correct the differential gearing or even better 2 t-cases

Changing clutches sucks

I have the centerforce dual and am very happy with it. The Marlin one is really good too...both good choices

i already have an extra transfer case sitting in my side of my house, how much would it cost to get that re-geared??
would it be cheaper than getting my axles re-geared?

well tcase gears are usually around 400 plus or minus or u could run dual cases then ur looking 350-400 for an adapter plus 200+ for a crossmember
regearing the diffs. are usually 200 for the gears x2 the install kit 110 x2 plus the labor wich i have no idea about i know people that set mine up for me
keep in mind these are all ballpark figures usually u can find deals on other forums/ bulletin boards in the classified sections
or u can put duals in and regear ull be set
