Thanks for the assistance. I located the problem. Now I have another problem, the check engine light comes on after the truck is put in motion? I crank the truck and the light dosen't come on until it starts moving? Any ideas?

How does one pull a code wabbit without using a (very hard to find these days) OBD1 scan tool?

Shut off and jump TE1 and E1. Turn key to on position and count the blinking Engine Light.
