Fuse or blower motor
Well it's been below zero in Alaska again, and of course my wife walks in and says the heat blower has stopped working.I'm hoping its the fuse and if so does anybody out there know where it's located. If it turns out the fan motor is shot what degree of difficulty is a change out on it.1991 3.0L SR5

Fuse for the front is under/behind the glove box. Its kinda a pain to get to, will probably need to take the glove box out. i believe its about 3-4 screws. Check your resistor too, those are pretty common to go bad. Mine did last year. Hope this is helpful. Good luck, i've been there.

Just 3 screws that hold the blower motor in. The one closet to the firewall can be a little difficult to get at times. The blower should work on the highest fan speed. If it does but the slower speeds dont work, it is most likely your blower resistor. If it is dead on all speeds, you are probably correct in the fuse or blower.
Just incase your lower speeds dont work but highest speed does, I have seen two different types of resistors should you need to replace it. One is a 3 blade resistor and other is a 4 blade resistor. I am not as familiar with the 89-95s but to make you aware of a possiblity. Your blower resistor will look like one of these and is located in the blower assembly.

Since your blower is working on medium speed, I would suspect your fan speed switch as a possibilty also. It is possible that one of the coils in the resistors is has turned to powder. When you pull it out, it will most likely disintegrate on you.
