Question Jumper on AFM board

Can some one tell me why this AFM circuit board has a jumper wire on the fifth connector attached to the corner of the board?
Thanks for your input.

Might help to know just what year that is out of?

It is a Toyota people do all kinds of things

Could be a trace broke that was the simple way to fix it.

Hello Wyoming, thanks for dropping by, I had the same opinion about just regaining the contact from a bad area on the board. Anyways, thank you.
