Fuel Tank

Fuel Tank

Ok guys i have a 85 22r pickup its my trail truck only sees offroad. I ditched the stock fuel tank and im gonna run a 12 gal. boat tank. What i need to know is what to do with the return line? Can i just T it into the line drawing front the fuel pump?
Any help very appreciated thanks

if the boat tank does not have a return line in it then have one put in, by T ing it into the line to the fuel pump it might over pressurize the system and it could cause the fuel to over fill the float bowls and flood the carb. and in return flooded motor.

I have had my return line blocked off and fuel regulated down to 3.5 psi for my weber without issue. Made the fuel pump a little noisier but it's been like that for over 10,000 miles so far and not one hiccup.
